Administration & Dosage

【Adult】
●Edema:
*IM/IV, initial 20-40 mg/dose, the dosage then being increased by an additional 20 mg at 1-2 hr intervals until the desired response is obtained.
*Continuous IV infusion, Initial: IV bolus 40-100 mg over 1-2 minutes, followed by continuous IV infusion rate of 10-40 mg/hour; repeat loading dose before increasing infusion rate.
【Pediatric】
●Diuretic: IM/IV, initial 1 mg/kg/dose, the dosage then being increased by an additional 1 mg/kg at 2 hr intervals until the desired response is obtained. Max. 6 mg/kg/d.

【unknown】Necrotizing angiitis, orthostatic hypotension, thrombophlebitis, vasculitis; dizziness, headache, paresthesia, restlessness, vertigo; acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis, bullous pemphigoid, erythema multiforme, exfoliative dermatitis, pruritus, skin photosensitivity, skin rash, SJS, toxic epidermal necrolysis, urticaria; glycosuria, hyperglycemia, hyperuricemia, increased serum cholesterol/triglycerides; abdominal cramps, anorexia, constipation, diarrhea, gastric irritation, mouth irritation, N/V, pancreatitis; bladder spasm; agranulocytosis, anemia, aplastic anemia, eosinophilia, hemolytic anemia, leukopenia, purpura, thrombocytopenia; hepatic encephalopathy, intrahepatic cholestatic jaundice, liver enzymes increased; anaphylaxis, anaphylactoid reaction, anaphylactic shock; DRESS syndrome; pain at injection site; muscle spasm/weakness; blurred vision, xanthopsia; deafness, tinnitus; interstitial nephritis (allergic), renal disease; fever
