●Infectious disease of abdomen, neutropenia associated with infectious disease, postoperative wound infection, urinary tract infectious disease： 2g/2g (total 4g) q12 h.
【Pediatric】
●Infectious disease of abdomen, neutropenia associated with infectious disease, postoperative wound infection, urinary tract infectious disease：
*Mild-to-moderate infections: 20mg/20mg/kg/day ~40 mg/40mg/kg/day in 2-4 divided doses
*Serious infections: 80mg/80 mg/kg/day in 2-4 divided doses.

Contraindication
|
Hypersensitivity to cephalosporins.
|

Precaution
|
Monitor for coagulopathy (Prolonged PT, INR), and bleeding event.

Adverse reaction
|
【>1 % or unknown】Increased serum transaminases, seizure, PT prolong, hypotension, phlebitis, pain at injection site.
【<1%】Skin rash, urticaria, anemia, oral candidiasis, headache, hematuria
【0.1- 1%】 Skin rash, thrombocythemia, leukopenia, eosinophilia, diarrhea,,nausea, vomiting, drug fever

Notes
|
1. Patients with moderate to severe liver cirrhosis (child-pugh B-C), or use anti-coagulant as warfarin is not recommended to use cefoperazone due to concern of PT prolongation, coagulopathy, and bleeding risk.
2. Na content: 124.6mg/vial, 5.41meq/vial
